The HPM31 steel is new material developed on the base of SLD(SKD11), just like DAIDO PD613. It applies particular method of melting so that the directional properties of material are not much remarkable; the change of size in heat treatment is reduced; moreover, the properties of flexibility and machining are improved after carbide refinement. It is adapted for dies requiring for high wear resistance, engineering resin dies (including gear, socket connector, IC die and so on.)
